Magic

Here, you'll see all of the available magic spells in Final Fantasy IV. A lot of these spells, as is the whole game, are similar to Final Fantasy II. Therefore, you'll find two extra columns with the original Japanese spell names and the spell names of Final Fantasy II.

Rydia, Palom, Tellah and FuSoYa can use Black Magic. However, Rydia is the only permanent character, so it is important to learn all of the levels for all of the spells. The White Magic for Cecil can be only obtained when he becomes a Paladin.

Refer to the following lists to find out the names of the spells, the costs of the spell, the effect of them and the original Japanese and FFII names for the spells.
