Final Fantasy IX

Listen to me. You should never lie to yourself.
Quote by: Eiko

Mognet Central

Mognet Central is the Headquarters of the Mognet Moogle Mail service in Final Fantasy IX. It is located on an island off the Outer Continent and can only be reached by using a Gold Chocobo and it'll require a Dead Pepper to locate it. It'll be on the east side of the island where you will find a crack in the mountain. Feed Choco a Dead Pepper to make him open the crack, revealing Mognet Central. You will be able to speak to the Moogles here and continue the quest of delivering their letters.

At a certain point in the game, on your way through Eto Gaza to Mount Golug, while delivering a letter to the Moogle Mogrika, she will tell you that Mognet is shutting down because of an accident. Frm this point on, most of the Moogles will not have any letters to deliver and they won't ask you to deliver any letters, due to problem at the home office, Mognet Central.

After going to Mognet Central, the Moogle Artemicion will confess that he used too much of a certain 'thing' to make his fur glossy and there wasn't enough left to use on the machine that keeps Mognet running. Leave Mognet Central and travel south to Alexandria. Talk to the Moogle Kupo at the bell tower ruins and he will gve you a petter to Atla. This will start a chain of letters that MUST be delivered from Moogle to Moogle in order to revive the Mognet. Keep in mind that the Moogles will only tell you to whom the letter must be brought, but they don't tell you where that Moogle is located! Go to our list of Moogles and their locations to find out where they all are.

Chain of letters: Reviving Mognet

Go to the Moogle Atla in Burmecia. Return there to deliver the letter. After delivering, Atla will ask you to take a letter to Mogryo, who will stand outside the Chocobo farm at the Black Mage Village. Mogryo on his turn will have a letter for Kumool. Go to the courtyard of Ispen's Castle to deliver the letter and Kumool will give you a letter for Mois, whom you'll find in the Ice Cavern.

The Ice Cavern will now be blocked by roots that have grown over every entrance. Mois has moved to Qu's Marsh on the Mist Continent and will stand outside the former entrance to Fossil Roo. Make sure you have Quina in your party, or else you won't have any access to Fossil Roo. Mois will have a letter for Noggy, whom you'll find at Daguerreo. After delivering, Noggy will give you a final letter which you'll have to deliver to Kupo in Alexandria.

After you have given Kupo the letter, it'll say that someone in Alexandria has the item they need. Kupo isn't much of a help, but of course I'm gonna tell you what to do next if you don't wanna search yourself or are tired of looking for it. Go to Rudy in the Mini-Theater in Alexandria and after talking to her, she'll immediately hand over some of her hair gel, otherwise known as Superslick. Now return to Mognet Central and hand that item over to Artemicion. The Mognet gets back to business and you will receive a Protect Ring for helping to restore Mognet.

Kupo Nuts

Every time you deliver a letter during this sequence, the Moogles will give you Kupo Nuts as an reward if you don't already have one in your Key Items inventory. Return to the Moogle famly at Gizameluke's Grotto every time you get one to exchange all of the Kupo Nuts for a nice item. By the time you're done, there should be four or five new little Moogles running around!
